True Passion Association was established as a Non-Profit Organization in the spring of 1999, by a group of Bay Area women, who wanted to assist and make a difference in our community and surrounding areas concerning children and families residing in the foster care system.

 

 

True Passion grew out of the need to bring together foster parents, agency representatives and community people who wish to work together to improve the foster care system and enhance the lives of all children and families.

 

 

True Passion's goal is to provide recognition, encouragement, mentoring, and cash assistance to those in the foster care system and those in need in our community. True Passion will inform the general public of current and in particular children needing foster care placement and to encourage communities to recognize foster parents for helping children in need of secure homes, by recognizing May as National Foster Care Month.

 

 

We will bring Community awareness to "aged out" of foster care teens. Recruit and maintain respite care providers (as they become known).
